Fancy a sneek peek at a new Northumberland wedding venue? – Healey Barn wedding venue!
Have you heard of Healey Barn wedding venue? I recently had the pleasure of visiting this exciting new wedding venue set in the gorgeous Northumbrian countryside in the Tyne Valley, but only a few miles from nearby Newcastle and Durham. I was definitely impressed by this fantastic new north east barn wedding venue and can’t wait for the chance to take some stunning wedding photographs here: it certainly fits the natural, simple style of my eco wedding photography perfectly!
The wonderful new Healey Barn wedding venue makes use of a collection of beautifully renovated, traditional stone farm buildings that surround a sheltered courtyard. The main building, named the Long Barn, is truly stunning: you couldn’t wish for anything more for a romantic north east wedding, with a relaxed country feel.
The barn’s oak “raised cruck” roof, enormous candelabra and fairy-light lit ceiling are just spectacular, combining these with rustic candle holders mounted onto the rough stone walls and a huge stone fireplace really creates an elegant and romantic atmosphere for your wedding celebrations.
The Dining Room, the old cow byre, is another great building with yet more oak roof trusses, an amazing glass wall looking out onto the Courtyard, and numerous windows which give fantastic views of this Northumbrian countryside setting. At one end of the Dining Room is an awesome copper-clad bar; perfect for helping your celebrate your North East wedding day long into the night.
Thanks to some really friendly staff at Healey Barn wedding venue for showing me around this new, exciting rustic Northumberland wedding venue. I’m sure there will be many, many weddings here over the coming years and I look forward to the opportunities to capture some natural wedding photography in this stunning countryside setting.
