Well I am the same as you, I see lots of cool photos on Facebook and get that urge to go and find something similar. This last week I have been inundated with some amazing shots of waves breaking over the sea wall at Seaham. Now the sea is not something I have had the chance to photography that much having been land locked in Leeds for so long! Now I’m officially a Newcastle Upon Tyne wedding photographer i get to be way closer to the coastal goodness.
The north east has an amazing coastline that has entertained many a childhood holiday. Seaham wasn’t on that list back in the day but 0nly cos my parents tended to head north rather than south.
So last friday I got my jobs done in the morning, blogging, book making, hoovering you know all the important stuff and I headed out to Seaham. I’ll be honest i knew was a day late for the MASSIVE waves but i had a sneeky plan … I was going to double bubble the trip. get some photos of the waves but also call in to a very nice wedding venue on route. Seaham Hall is located in some cracking grounds oh so very close to the sea.
Now i did manage to get a tour round but without my camera..booo but i have a booking to head back and meet the wedding coordinator when we both have a bit more time.
As you can see from the couple of shots I did take its a stunning building and a very cool place to get married.
Well I did get down to the beach even though it was a very grey day. These shots were fun to get but not as epic as the day before!
